Painting of the roofs finished

They are green. Mostly green. No rain for two weeks! Extraordinary! Just so that I could finish painting - I think. Some neighbors had rain - but not me. 

My mother finally moved to a decent apartment - a little smaller than the older one. No sooner had I moved all her things up to the third floor, than they decided to move her to another place - smaller, and much better. My house and both cars are now full of junk - I mean her stuff. My next project is sorting everything. Not fun. Einar the handyman-painter left today with his car full of stuff that he took into permanent fostercare. I'm in no doubt that Einar is an angel in disguise. I mean, look at the weather we got!

Last Saturday we took a break and attended a jazz concert in Skógar. It was fabulous. Andrea Gylfadóttir, singer, Björn Thoroddsen, guitar, plus others - what a team. Afterwards we enjoyed Annika's hospitality - a midnight barbeque - quite excellent. Thanks to everyone!

Ég keypti diska, ef þú heimsækir mig geturðu fengið örlitla nasasjón af því sem fram fór - á tónleikunum.  En Annika er einstakur grillmeistari - það get ég ekki leikið eftir!
